WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of criminal defense attorneys concerned about our community. We are appalled by the number of young people entering the criminal justice system. Watchdogs For Justice was formed for the specific purpose of doing something about that.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
By conducting workshops in schools, libraries, churches and other places where we find young people, and providing them with information regarding the inner workings of the criminal justice system, we have the opportunity to:
- Offer tips on how to avoid entering the system.
- Assist those who have been adversely impacted by the judicial system.
- Redirect the path of those who would most likely be adversely impacted by the judicial system in the future.
- Educate the community about pitfalls that can land our young people in jail or prison for many years.
WHO DO WE HELP?
Our target group is youth between the ages of 9 -19
HOW YOU CAN HELP?
Schedule a workshop for the young people in your community. Call us at 678-412-2299. Together, we can reduce the number of young people entering the system.
Buy copies of our books "This Is Not Cool, Volumes I & II" (www.claraking.com)
and give them to a young person. It's easy to get them on the right track when they have the right information and encouragement.
